With more fog forecast for the morning, I set the alarm just 30 minutes earlier, and woke to hear the woosh of cars outside on a wet road. Looking at the radar, yep rain.
But, I was up, so may as well stop at Altona Pier on my way to work. With much less fog than the previous two days, the drizzle had settled in, so rugged up, water-resistant jacket on, and ventured out on the beach.
The fog was still sitting out over the bay, and created such a smooth backdrop for the pier. During this exposure the tide decided to creep back in, with the surf (if you can call it that on the bay) getting a little more unpredictable and right up to my position.
With only a few long exposure frames captured, a slightly damp Marty headed back to the car, but am really happy with how this one has come out, with a nice smooth 210 second exposure.
