Surrounded by cliffs, rainforest and rock, and towered by enormous gum trees on the ridges, tumbles Marriners Falls. Spending a good 4 hours with a camera, tripod and gum boots was absolute therapy for the mind and soul, especially in such a beautiful and secluded area.
Being out of action for two weeks with a rather nasty bug, it was beautiful to be outdoors, breathing clean fresh air, and this short walk was a great introduction to get me back on my feet.
There’s just so much more of this country to explore - and Marriners Falls had been on my to-do list for a while - so great motivation to keep exploring and good things come to those who wait. The Otways and Western Victoria host some truly amazing wonders, and can’t wait to get back out there.
