While walking down the little driveway to the boat ramp at the mouth of Kororoit Creek, I looked up and was at the right height to see the little wooden bench just nicely sitting on top of the old concrete overlooking the bay. I knew where I wanted to sit - just a few metres behind it. So dismounted my bag, found the angle I was after, and took my own seat in the sun behind my tripod, and took a few frames, playing with long (and very long) exposures - this one for 4 and a half minutes.
Sitting for just an hour in the morning sun really does a lot for the body and mind - a gentle breeze, warm morning light, and some great cloud movement. Yep, happy Saturday morning.
